I have to admit that my first attempt at drawing Charlie Chaplin was a failure of sorts, so I took up the challenge again. Here are the results. I think this time the result is better.

I think something went wrong with the eyes, but I'm not able to find out where it went wrong.

I've been wanting to caricaturize Sir Winston Churchill for a long time, but at last I got down to it. It took a while and this was the most challenging one I've done till date. As usual - created in GIMP using the mouse only.

By the way I've also re-categorized the cartoon section for additional clarity.

Here's a special edition of Cartoon Corner! I've tried to portray Mahatma Gandhi in this picture. This one took the longest among all the cartoons I've drawn so far. Had to draw quite a few times since I didn't get the shape right the first couple of times. (and yes, like all my toons so far, this was also drawn entirely using the mouse). Hope you like it!

Ok. A special cartoon corner. I was recently talking about my cartoon corner with my friends and one of them asked me if I could render Velu Naicker. This is the main character from the famous Tamil movie, Nayagan (1987) played by the renowned actor Kamal Haasan. For those who don't know what I'm talking about, here's the Wikipedia page for Nayagan.
