This blog now runs on b2evolution
Has anybody noticed now that this blog is powered by b2evolution? ![]()
That’s right, this is the result of my very own importer and I’m quite proud of the fact that I accomplished this in a couple of days (including changing my theme manually to match the earlier WordPress blog). I am going to share the converter with the community and I would appreciate it if people test it and give me feedback.
As far as this blog content goes, there are a few minor import problem related to posts and attachments which I’ll fix manually. But for one really annoying MySQL bug, this changeover went pretty smoothly.
If you notice any problems please do bring them to my attention and I’ll fix them as soon as possible. And please don’t forget to update your feed reader ![]()

It doesn't have a WYSIWYG editor, but the editor itself has a lot of goodies (in "expert" mode). Just check out a demo of b2evolution at www.b2evolution.net.
Really cool.

Is there any way of making a reverse converter?
I believe WP has a converter from b2evolution, but that works on the older version of b2evolution (1.x series, not 2.x). The database schema has since changed.
if you've got a backup of your old WP database and you've not added too much content using b2evolution, maybe you should just manually copy your posts over. Sorry I cannot suggest anything better at the moment.
I'm just not happy with the support or user base of b2e compaired to WP. Its not mainstream enough yet.
Although it is very nice to work with, WP has much more to offer atm.
If things change, i'll happily move back to b2e
Cheers.
It's not popular enough is what you mean. It's been around a while now and there's a fairly active user community at http://forums.b2evolution.net.
Are you able to take out unwanted blogs like Grants, if you want?...lol
